capture the eclectic nature of Woodstock with a varied format that
included blocks of Folk, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Talk, Rock, and a

Gary H. Chetkof - Bio
Gary Chetkof is the President and principal owner of CHET-5 Broadcasting LP, which owns and operates WDST. Gary is also President of CHET-5 Productions, Inc., one of the largest concert promoters in the Hudson Valley area, and the producer of the annual Mountain Jam Festival at Hunter Mt. Gary is also the Co-Founder, Chairman and President of the Woodstock Broadcasting Network Corporation, a company that owns numerous Woodstock trademarks and that webcasts RadioWoodstock.com -- an Internet-only radio station.
Prior to forming CHET-5 Broadcasting, Gary was involved in the acquisition, merger and divestiture of over $1.8 billion dollars of radio broadcast properties. Gary was the Assistant General Counsel of the Sillerman Companies, a merchant-banking firm headed by SFX Entertainment Chairman, Robert F.X. Sillerman. Immediately prior to joining Sillerman, Gary served as an officer and general counsel to companies that owned major groups of broadcast stations, including Metropolitan Broadcasting, the purchaser of the Metromedia Radio Group.
In the mid-1980s, Gary was an Associate at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he specialized in corporate and communications law. Mr. Chetkof received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in 1982 and graduated from the American University Law School cum laude and with special honors in 1985.
